The point of streaming is that you DON'T download anything ted.

If your smart TV is android you can down load stuff straight onto your TV !
I only learnt that from help on here :-)

What Stubbo said. The Amazon box is going to 100 times more reliable than those crappy knock off boxes

Amazon Fire TV (not stick) is great kit, plus if you buy regularly from them and get Amazon Prime, there is some good TV on there to boot.

Build quality is excellent too.

Have a look down for the Kodi thread!
I would recommend the MXIII box I got from www.droidsmart.co.uk
Cost just under £50 (also they're on Ebay)
Funny enough I've just ordered another one for my bedroom yesterday
I got my 1st one in March 2016 & got another one for my sister & another one for a mate
They all work fine
I'd be a bit wary of some of the cheaper ones
I'm not sure how much better the more expensive ones are but the MXIII works fine for me!

Agree. Would recommend a keyboard and not the remote, as an addon

I took out a Sportsnation subscription for £50, excellent quality.
